"The Monster is Loose", a track featured on Meat Loaf's new studio
album, has been leaked onto the internet prior to mastering, his label
has revealed.
In a slightly tongue-in-cheek press release, a statement from his UK
publicist at Mercury Records said: "We're looking into how this got out
of the studio, but once the "Monster is Loose", you really can't stuff
it back in its cage!"
The track, which will feature on Meat Loaf's long-awaited new album "Bat
Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose", has subsequently been made
available to download at the stadium rocker's official site,
Meatloaf.net, and was co-written
by Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), John 5 (guitarist for Marilyn Manson) and
Bat Out of Hell III producer Desmond Child.
The "Bat Out Of Hell" series is one of the most successful in the rock
world, with over 45m records sold across the world since the first
release in 1977.
